Not sure what to say?

You were an amazing father, step father, husband, and so much more. Sure we had our disagreements and arguments but we still got along. it dosent feel real that your gone and its been almost 2 years. the house feels empty without your humor and laugh. You were a major impact in my life if the time we knew each other. you helped my mom with so much and made her a better person too. i miss you.

I sure hate to hear about Forrest's passing. I graduated high school with him and enjoyed his friendship at that time. We had lost contact until he started working with TDEC/State Natural Areas. I work with state parks in an aisle over from where he worked. He is missed. God bless and be with his family at this time.

As a big sister eight years
old when Forrest was born
I remember being so proud to change his little cloth diapers and sing to him. He was the sweetest child with a desire to please everyone and we all loved him so much! As a teenager he and our brother Curtis were big helpers to Dad in all sorts of outdoor accomplishments where they both became skilled in many things, and Forrest also still loved to spend time with Mom and the girls cooking (especially pies and cookies!)

I'm still in shock. Forrest, I miss you dearly. I will always remember your fun quirkiness, love of nature and family. I gained a brother when you married my sister and we were lucky to have you even though it was not long enough. Love you

When I was a young man, Dad asked where I would want to go on a road trip. I did not have answers, so we toured North, South, East, and West of TN on various occasions with nothing more than an abstract notion of the what may come. I will always reminisce these memories with Dad: maps from interstate rest stations at every state line, Kiptopeke State Park, Lewes Ferry, Cap May NJ, camping in an Atlantic City parking garage, Portland ME, Bar Harbor, Wild Maine blueberry pie and boiled lobster,...

I have many good memories of Forrest beginning when I first met him when he was about 13 years old, a "round" little boy with a great quick smile that was always on his face, and made everyone around him smile. Forrest was curious about everything, and adventurous. I remember the story about his family when they spent time in Nashville, and Forrest disappeared, hopped a train but returned after several hours. That summer, he fell off the garage while working with his father and broke his...
