My condolences to Dean's family and celebratory thoughts of a wonderful life he made for himself and others close to him. Dean was one of the most influential persons in my life. In my graduate school years at Humboldt State(1971-73)Dean, as my major professor and friend, instilled in me a life long philosophy of loving life and nature.
