Not sure what to say?

Our love and prayers go out to Maria, Daniel and Georgianna. Forrest was a special person and a good friend. May all the good memories of the "Brothers" live on in our hearts forever. He is in good company with Doug and Dan now.

How I wish I could have gone to the service in Salem at Willamette Valley Winery and supported the Klaffke family. Though I did not know Forrest well...I happen to live nearby and would have been proud to represent the many people who cared for him from our hometown of Lodi. My condolences to the Klaffke family.

We got the call that our dear Forry was gone. Then we pulled out a box of pictures and spent the morning enjoying some great times. The Moke Station group had so much fun. We worked so hard to make great wine. My favorite, Circulating with Forrest at o-dark thirty, one 5 gallon bucket at at a time, into that 500 gallon fermenter in the garage. Cheers!!

I was reading the Lodi News paper this morning and I was saddened to see my longtime friend from Lodi High School passed away. God Bless his Wife , and Family at this time and my condolences to all of you from Nanette Purdy Diocson and Family. He was a very sweet man and friend that I havent seen in many years. May Our Dear Lord help you all through this difficult time and hold you all in the palms of his hands Amen.

While reading the Lodi newspaper Wednesday morning I came upon a beautiful smiling face in the obits. I read with interest about Forrest Klaffke's life and was saddened with his passing much too soon. I happened to have a bottle of WVV Pinot, with Forrest's signature as winemaker, and took it to our weekly Wine on Wednesday afterwork get together. Our group of 6 drank the wonderful Pinot and respectfully toasted to Forrest's life. Although we are strangers we want the family to know we have...

We shared many great moments together. You and your family will be in our hearts forever ! M & J Young family

As a shareholder/volunteer I worked in the bottling line from 1990 to 2005 and it was a real pleasure to work with Forrest. Many times the bottling machine broke down and Forrest spent many hours getting it going again, sometimes not till hours later. He was a pleasure to be around with his sense of humor and and his ready smile. We volunteers were all happy when he finally was named the winemaker for WVV.
We all will miss him.

Those will be BIG shoes to fill for a new winemaker. I can see him being in the cellar for his last days. Prayers whole hearted to Maria, Daniel and Georgianna. We worked together at Sebastiani for several years; I remember giving him the "tip" about he job in Oregon.
