FORREST WOODROW MEEK Forrest Meek was born on the 4th of July, 1917, in Pierce, Oklahoma. He arrived in Porterville, California at age 12 and quickly adopted the San Joaquin Valley as home. "Uncle Sam" soon called and Forrest went off to war where he fought heroically for family and for country....
