Not sure what to say?

Dear Dottie & family,
Sincere condolances on your loss of Diz. We go back a long way- when we were team mates on many Hillside baseball teams and of course you and I graduated from Central in the same year. Diz will be sadly missed by all especially if there is another Hillside reunion.Charley Neiman

To Dot & the entire Moyer Family,
Diz was a great man, between Diz and my Pop, many kids were taught the proper way and attitude to play baseball. Diz was so instrumental in my life. I have never forgotten the values he instilled in us as young kids. I will always keep Diz and your Family in my prayers.

To the entire Moyer Family, it has certainly been a very long time, and this is the kind of news you do not like to hear. I also had the pleasure of playing football and baseball for Rising Sun AA back in the day. I was also your paperboy for many, many years and not to mention friends and going to school with you guys. Ironically, friends of our family live in your house here. It brings back old times passing by growing up. I just learned by reading this obituary that Alison is a neighbor of...

Please accept our deepest sympathies. It was a joy to be a co-founder of Paxton Athletics with Diz and to be one of his assistants of his teams.

Diz,myself and his cousin Rick Ecks were fishing the pine creek. I was north,Rick was south and Diz was in the middle. Rick and I heard 'fish on' three times, The look and the big smile said it all. He was the Man!

Fish on buddy, we will miss you.

Diz was not only my 2nd cousin, he was my first and best baseball coach while playing for him in the City-County Colt League. He also coached me in football while playing for the Rising Sun Sunners. He was always a happy and joking kind of guy. He coined my nickname of BBC (Big Bob Care) back in the day. I truly feel blessed to have been around him and his wonderful family as there are many wonderful memories that I will cherish. My wife, Cheryl, mother, Elsie Care (Diz's 1st cousin)and my...

I will miss the laughs we used to have with Forrest at the Knights. He was always so pleasant and eager to reminice of past experiences and humourous circumstances whether it be the pranks and "funnies" of the "Polar Bear Club" or of the Knights. You could always count on having a good time and alot of belly laughs when Forrest was in your presense. We will all truly miss him but are grateful for knowing him and the friendship he brought to each of us.
