Not sure what to say?

Rest easy my friend. You are sorely missed.

Bless his heart...Life well lived. His influence is profound.

I didn't know Forrest personally, but like many, knew of his earthly presence from Hoarders. The fact that he dealt with this issue was irrelevant. Incidentally I saw the episode with him last night for the 4th time and just found out today that he passed last year. He did a lot for others through his service in academia as well as the community, in particular influencing young black men. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Rest in peace.

I am heart broken to just discover Forrest passed. I knew him for some years, and he sent me cheerful memes almost every day since we met. He was profoundly kind and caring, an impeccable dresser, and dedicated humanitarian. He can not be replaced in my life and many others lives and will be eternally missed. See you in heaven, my friend.

Paying my respects to a great man. You will be missed. Rest in paradise.

Forrest worked with my mother at UMW. He was so kind hearted and was instrumental in my decision to go to JMU. I learned later on that he had put in a reference for me without asking. He did not want any credit because that was the person he was. Will certainly be missed.

Great memories!

To the Family of Forrest,
I am very saddened and shocked to learn of Forrest's passing.
My deepest condolences for your family's loss of an amazing man. May God give you strength and comfort, day by day, on your journey to healing.
I will remember him as an extraordinary person who touched many people in so many positive ways.
I first met Forrest at his Multicultural Conference in 2015. Through the years, he shared his experiences of what he was doing with the Club...

What a great spirit that will live on forever
