Pastor Forrest Pollock

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Pastor Pollard when I worked at Audubon Elementary school where his children attended. I recall a very gracious, polite, and extremely warm , kind man. He engaged me in conversation and my heart was broken when I heard about his plane crash with his son Preston. That seemed like a lifetime ago may God bless and keep his family in the palm of his hands.

I had the opportunity to attend Bell Shoals Baptist Church when I lived in Valrico from 1998-2006. I was blessed to hear Dr. Pollock preach. He and his family were truly a blessing to the Bell Shoals family. I miss my days in Florida, especially the Bell Shoals Church family. May God continue to watch over the Pollock family. Dr. Pollock was a wonderful man who is missed even today as I listen to the online sermon at Bell Shoals. My hope is that his family is doing well.

I have been friends with Forrest since fitfth grade and remained friends even unto his untimely death. He loved God with all of his heart even as a child. There were countless times even into high school that he would invite his friends to his church to hear him sing. He had a true love for all. A God like unconditional love. He broke every bearer of race, preps, jocks, nerds, teachers and yes he was even given keys to our high school. He loved all people with his God like unconditional love....

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family and friends during this time of sorrow. Please find peace and comfort in Isaiah 65:17,21-24.

My family just became members to this church. I can appreciate all the hard work and dedication the Pollock family put into this church during his time. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Pollock family.

Thinking of Forrest today. I worked for him at Prestonwood Baptist in 1994. He was action-oriented and driven, and equally creative and inspiring.

Almost 3 years later, my heart is so heavy because of the loss of such a wonderful Child of God. I was drawn to search out stories of him tonight for some reason. A true man of God and a wonderful teacher of the Word. Thank you Lord for sharing him with us.
