Not sure what to say?

To Franca's family,
I just found out of Franca's passing at a diner I was hosting. I couldn't function clearly because in the back of my mind I was so sad. I will always have fond memories of you. People come and go in and out of our lives some are missed and some aren't. I will truly miss you.

To Franca's family -- I had planned to attend her services with my aunt, Nila Coppini Negri. Unfortunately, Nila died suddenly on Dec. 9. Nila knew Franca for over 50 years, back to the Lilli Ann dress factory, and later on at Macy's. What is strangely ironic is that Franca once told Nila, "We always work together so one day we will die together" -- and that is exactly what happened. They are in Heaven together now. My deepest sympathies to your family at this very sad time.

To the family of Franca

I am very sorry for your loss. Franca was our dearest person. My memories of her go back to the 70's in San Francisco. She was a caring and loving person who never complained. She always made you feel at ease. Franca thank you for all you did. Columbus Day Celebration and the Italian Community has lost a true friend.

Dear Loved Ones of Franca,
As a member of the Columbus Day Celebration for almost 20 years, I cherish my memories of Franca. She was a lovely woman in every sense of the word. I loved seeing her beautiful smile at the celebration. It has been a pleasure knowing a woman whose gentle spirit completely embraced her Italian heritage. I am quite sure that God greeted her in Heaven with biscotti and a cappucino!

Dear Family and many Friends of Franca. ( My dearest Friend and and fellow participant in the Columbus Day Celebration.) She was "always there" when you needed help . We had our special lunch together after the Madonna Del Lume mass and boat trip, we worked on costumes together . I feel I'm a little better ""cook"" because of our conversations on how she prepared
foods. I know Franca is watching over us now. I will miss her gentle voice and warm smile.

Dear Borsoni Family,

It was my privilege to work with Franca many years ago (1950's) at the Lilli Ann factory. She was a wonderful person, very warm and kind. She took great pride in her family. My sympathies are with you at this sad time, and I will remember you and Franca in my prayers.

To the family of Franca Borsoni: it has been my privilege to know Franca for at least the past 10 years through the Columbus Day Celebration Board of Directors. Her dedication to our organization and to her Italian heritage were an inspiration to many who came to know her. Franca reminded me very much of my own Italian-born grandmother and will hold a special place in my memories. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
