Fran/"Frannie" was one of my mom's (Ellen Fox) best friends, even though my mom was at least ten years older. She and Dorothy/Dotty once gave my mom a plaque that my mom loved. It was painted ornately and said "Old Bag." That hung in my mom's kitchen for a long time. I was FB friends with Fran, and have missed the little communication we had there. She was certainly one of my all time favorites of my mom's friends.
