We were so sorry to hear about Fran's passing. She was the last of the generation of my father's friends from Roxbury-Dorchester. Dad and Mom were very fond of your mother and respected her intellect and loved her warmth. I have lovely memories of both Fran and Arthur, both of whom Dan and Mary considered among their close friends. Our thoughts are with you as we become the older generation.

So sorry to learn of Fran's passing. She was the last surviving member of the group of dear friends with whom my parents loved to spend time. I have known and loved Fran for forever! She was very kind and even telephoned me in Canada after my parents died within 5 weeks of each other back in 1997, a very difficult time for me. I last spoke to her for her birthday last year. She was so happy to be remembered. My husband, Michel, and I send our sincere sympathy to Judy and the entire family. ...
