Frances V Antupit

As my sister Beverly has said, Frances was a part of our family as well as the stability of Paul Koby Studio. I had the privilege of working with Frances at the studio in the early and mid seventies. She was always upbeat and possessed an original sense of humor. She and I frequently played tennis and spent many evenings at the Scrabble board. Frances made it possible for me to complete my studies while working at the studio. She will be missed.

Frances was a big sister to me, and also like a member of my family. My father was Paul Koby, the owner of Paul Koby Studio in Harvard Square. Frances was a very talented photographer, and eventually purchased the studio. From the age of 10 Frances was a presence in my life. I think of her often and remember her always. Rest peacefully dear Frances, Beverly Koby Garrett

I am very sorry to read that Fran, as I knew her, has passed away. She and I had two things in common: I also grew up in West Hartford, then later as adults we met volunteering at Mount Auburn Hospital. She was a valued member of the volunteer department over the years. May her memory be blessed. My condolences to the family.
