Frances Thank you for your Honorable Military Service to our country. I am forever grateful that you blazed the trail for me to have the opportunity to serve in the Military from 1974-1994. Rest in Peace. You will never be forgotten.

I had the honor of meeting Frances a few years ago when her niece Judy (Young) Limoge and I were visiting northern Maine where her family was from. It was an amazing experience to meet this woman who at the time was 95, and a great conversationalist. We shared Army stories and I was totally enthralled. We have great photos and it will always remain one of those unforgettable experiences for me. And, yes, she served us lobster rolls. RIP Nurse Frances.

To the best of my recollection we meet Frances as young teenagers soon after she married our Uncle Athill. My mom, sister Shileen and I took a train to Mars Hill for our vacation. My Uncle Athill picked us up at the train station. We stayed with Penny and Frank. Every chance we got my sister and I went to the cabin to be with Aunt Frances. We were on our way to Presque Isle with her and asked her if it was ok with her if we called her aunt. She so graciously said yes. We visited for many...
