We learned of Mrs. Bascom's passing via her son, Phil, who has been corresponding with us from Iraq. Phil has helped our church experience a vivid new awareness of our joint families. It is easy to imagine Mrs. Bascom's vitality and genuineness based on Phil's buoyant personality and the quality of his life.
