Not sure what to say?

It sounds like she was a jewel in every way. She led an active work life and an amazing retirement life. She might have made me a good student if I'd been in her class. What wonderful memories I stumbled across today. I wish they'd been mine.

I will miss Francis. I met her at the Swasey book club in 1999, and we became fast friends. I often stopped by her home to visit with her. A wonderful talented woman with a great sense of humor that not everyone picked up on. I had major back surgery in December 2017 and just recently heard about her passing. I will miss her.

Mrs. Bentley was not only my favorite teach of all time but also of all my siblings. All four of us remember her well and were the recipients of her love and expertise. I'll never forget her drilling our class on how to correctly pronounce the word "mischievous". Her passion for teaching has never been matched by any other teacher I had. I was lucky enough to have her for both English and Humanities and they were my favorite classes because of her. RIP Mrs. Bentley, you are a rare human...

I remember Mrs Bentley very fondly from Meeker. She expected a lot but gave more then she asked. She helped me build confidence in myself, so for that reason, I will always treasure my time with her. Sure hope I didn't mis-spell anything or I will hear about it when we meet again! Thank you to the Bentley family for sharing her spunk with us all.

My favorite teacher of all time, bar none! She believed in me and prompted me to focus on my writing skills when I was in junior high; she even came to our house to tell my parents how important it was that they foster my efforts. I loved her then and still do now, and have been thinking of her so much lately. I wish I would have taken the time to seek her out and thank her. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Bentley, and thank you for making my life better. Blessings to the family.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Frances, but grateful for her service to our nation with the Peace Corps.

Ah, Sarge. By expecting excellence, by treating us like thinking people, not mere children, you helped us rise to the challenge and to grow up a little. You demonstrated a rare combination of sternness, fairness, kindness, and humor, always with a twinkle in your eye.

Thank you for all the lessons that have stayed with us, your grateful students, throughout our lives.

Mrs. Bentley was by far one of the most outstanding teachers I ever had. She always had a knack of reaching deep down inside my soul and bring out the best in me. Such an awesome teacher, and human being. Rest in Peace my dear mentor - you will be missed. Prayers also to her sons and family.
