Not sure what to say?

The Nix family sends all of the Bertoli´s our heartfelt condolences. I am sitting here with my father Philip, and we were discussing what a joy it was to know Diane. We both loved her wry sense of humor, and she was smart and incredibly capable. We have been reminiscing fondly about her time at SCDS. My dad is so appreciative of her contribution to the success of the school. She was a wonderful colleague and friend, full of wit and wisdom. Please know there are many fans of the lovely Diane...

Diane made us feel special every time we were in her presence--whether at SCDS, church or out and about. She was a kind, always positive person. Honored to have known her. Nancy Doyle MD

Diane was a the Mother we all wanted. What a wonderful person she was. And her family reflected her loving and dedicated approach to her parenting, even us older friends! She treated me like a son and member of the Bertoli family. God watch over Lady Di! we were all blessed to have known and loved her.

Diane will be missed. She always said or did something that made us laugh! Please accept our sympathy...we all have fond memories. Phyllis & Dennis

Mrs. Bertoli was so beloved by all at Sonoma Country Day School. She was the school secretary, and she answered the phone so well that a recording of her voice was provided to use as a voicemail greeting to the highest bidder at the annual fundraiser. She was a dear friend, and I will miss her.

I worked in a rented office space in the back of Healdsburg Realty when I met Diane who worked as receptionist and secretary for the real estate company up front. She was always so cheerful and friendly and when I needed to speak with her I would identify myself as Brenda in the back. She came to refer to me as "Brenda in the back" whenever and wherever we met. Always a smile, a wonderful sense of humor, I remember she would always make me laugh and smile. She was a best friend to my mom...

My deepest condolences to the Bertoli Family. I remember Diane coming by the Police Dept. to talk to Chief Bertoli...she was a great lady with a cute sense of humor.

Diane was my best friend since 1950. She will certainly be missed.

Sincere condolences for the family of Mrs. Bertoli ... my memories of visits with her husband , Lou at Fitch Mtn School in the early sixties as he enjoyed chatting with the children in my first grade who lived near and stayed after school to play. Healdsburg was a happy place thanks to folks like the Bertoli´s. .
