Frances loved flowers, reading, theatre, travel, spending time with her grandkids and other family, attending her grandkids’ events, spoiling a wide array of lucky pets, and challenging herself with puzzles. Frances was a loving mother and an adored and cherished Nana. She is and will forever be dearly missed by all who knew and love her.

Survived by her loving daughters, Laura (Bill Smith), Jennifer (Nick Salazar) and Pamela (Kraig Smith); her grandchildren Reylynn (30), Logan (21), Quinlan (17), Liam (13), Lukas (12) and Bodhi (8); her sister Judith (William Cox, deceased); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family in the Chicago and Detroit areas. Preceded in death by her parents Edith (Dyer) and George Schriber; her former husband and lifelong friend Francis “Frank” Bertucci; her sisters Katherine Wall and Barbara Alley; and her brother George Schriber.

Not sure what to say?

To the Bertucci girls... I was so sad to hear of the passing of your mother. She was a great lady and a wonderful person who helped me when my mother was ill and how to prepare for the ultimate end. I hope that all of you are doing well. My sincecere condolences.

So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed your Mom while we were together at Holy Angles. Prayers for your family. Sandy Funkey
