Not sure what to say?

Dear Family, I trained with Fran at UMMA. She was brilliant, kind, and welcoming. A beautiful human who was open to all, a great listener. Thank you Fran.

I was very happy to have crossed paths with Frances as a Docent at UMMA. Her colorful skills with yarn I will remember as well engaging conversation of art and its connection with youth. My Mother died March 29th this year. We had celebrated my Mom's life on the date listed as Frances birthday.

Fran was my neighborhood walking friend. She always stopped to talk with me when we were out taking our daily walks. She was my inspiration along with my own Mom who loved to walk. I send my deepest sympathies to all of her family. I am very sad, but, also hopeful because I know Fran has stepped into eternity, into the presence of God.

Fran was a bonus grandmother for our daughter and my child and I discussed what a great role model she was. She read and thought about a wide range of issues, loved riding her bike, was always ready to help with a knitting question, and always had shared such interesting ideas. A big loss for George and her children and grandchildren. May the memories bring comfort.

I knew Fran from the Hamburg Library knitting group. She always had a wonderful project she was working on. One day I asked her to tell me how she blocked her work. She told me each step, which I wrote in my notebook. I´m glad I have that to remember her. She mentioned how proud she was that her Granada daughter had made a sweater, and it was beautiful! Fran will certainly be missed!

I will miss seeing Fran at her LYS, Spun. She was always so cheerful and friendly. We developed a friendship that I will always remember. Thoughts and prayers to Fran´s family.

Fran loved biking. She biked to UMMA most of the time, but when she didn't, she would get a ride from me. We shared stories of our lives and opinions of the world in the car. She was such a loving and wise person. She said her dream was to leave the world riding on her bike. I guess that is what she is doing now.
