My condolences to your family. Mrs. Bigda served as Vice Principal during time at CHS. One always dreaded getting called to her office as she was very strict. Luckily I never did but I did spend occasion in her office talking about personal things happening in my life so I got to see the softer side of her. May she rest in peace. She lived a beautiful life.

Mrs. Bigda was our Vice Principal at Kirby School Class of 83! She was approachable, understanding and cared for her students! Rest in peace Mrs. Bigda!

Mrs Bigda was an excellent teacher. She made social studies so much fun. Clas of 79. She will be missed.

I started Chicopee High School in 1989, just as Mrs. Bigda was taking over as principal. She was tough, but fair to us students. She let the `good´ kids have some extra privileges. I have been a Chicopee Public School teacher for 24 years, Kara (Mitchell) Gauthier CHS Class of `93
