Frances M. Bozzo, born in Gilroy, California, passed away on December 20, 2022 at the age of 95. She was married to Frank D. Bozzo and they settled in Gilroy, where they owned and operated a small neighborhood grocery store. After Frank's passing in 1957, she focused her energies on raising their two young children, Linda and Thomas. She worked at Jim's Sport Shop and then for Gilroy Unified School District at Mt. Madonna High School.
She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Frances loved to play tennis and travel. Much of her time was spent caring for her yard, which included roses, orchids and other potted plants. She loved being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and daughter, Linda. She is survived by her son, Tom Bozzo (Ann), grandchildren Mark Bozzo (Melissa) and Scott Bozzo (Lindsey), great grandchildren Emilia and Alex Bozzo, Jase and Adison Bozzo.
A funeral Mass will be held February 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gilroy. Donations in her memory may be made to Gilroy Foundation, P.O. Box 774, Gilroy, CA 95021.
