Frances Burkholder

Sincere sympathy to you David and your family. Fran's life and mine intersected only on brief occasions but as neighbors, we would wave or chat. She is a neighbor that anyone would wish for.

Her gardens were works of love and joy. She gave "tours" of her garden to our great-granddaughters to pass on the love she had for each plant she cared for, pointing out the butterfly area and other special plants.

She will be missed.

Dear Mr. Burkholder, Tom, Brian and Pat;

When I come back home to Comstock Park when visiting my parents, I would often see her working in her lovely garden. Sometimes we would catch each other’s eye, smile & wave. She truly was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met.
