Frances Elizabeth Coffman

Mrs. Coffman was one of the strongest and most memorable of all my teachers. She earned respect because she knew and practiced the morals behind the methods and the disciplines necessary for success in anything. She was strong yet kind, strict but compassionate, and infinitely wise. She holds a special importance to me and I will never forget her, even though I knew her for only one hour five days a week for less than 2/3 of a year - and that year the last of junior high school.
