Today is November 24, 2008. A year has passed since you left us for a much better and well deserved destination.
Thank you for passing on your Christian faith to our family. I was looking at some of the notes that you sent over years to us about family ancestors and our Seneca Indian heritage too. Thank you for instilling love of God, country, and family. Thank you for your eternal love. I will always miss our Sunday morning conversations and just hearing your voice. I love you...

In 1980 my Great Aunt Eileen and my Great Uncle Claud took me into their home during a difficult time in my life. Meeting with family I barely knew, they all made me feel at home and safe,reassuring me things were okay. The time I spent there has always been a part of me and the things I do today. Having a family like that is unforgettable! Loving memories are always in the heart and never forgotten!

Eileen (and Claude) were "our" first neighbors after we were married in 1974 there in Sacramento. Even though we have been out of state and sometimes out of country since 78, we stayed in touch and always got together when we were in town. And each time was as if we had just seen each other the day before. Our friend Eileen was like a candle in the dark.... and we will miss her eternally cheerful attitude and genuine caring. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family in their time of...
