Frances Devaney

Doris Frances Bruen, 96, died on December 26, 2024, in Brick. NJ. Born on April 3, 1928,in Newark, NJ. Fran was predeceased by her husband of 59 years William H Devaney, her son, William J.Devaney, her daughter, Joanne Moore Yakelewicz, her granddaughter Amy K. Moore and her grandson Johnny Yakelewicz.

She is survived by her loving son John H. Moore and wife Peggy, her loving granddaughter Erin C Serrano and loving grandchildren Penelope and Courtney Serrano, special nieces Cathy Braasch and Patricia Brandes and their families, close friends Vanessa and Sophia Falih, and many friends made over the years who provided her with consistent love and companionship. In her later years she enjoyed talking on the phone to all her friends who couldn’t visit. She especially loved the Christmas cards she received with pictures of the children as they grew. She prayed for them every day. Thank you all for making her feel loved and important.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday January 11, 2025 from 10:00am-11:00 am when a memorial service will begin.
