Frances Cassisa Diggs, 95, of Lacombe, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, in Lacombe. She was born January 20, 1925, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Peter and Catherine Cassisa, where she was raised before moving to Chalmette, and finally to Lacombe for the past thirty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas George Diggs. She is survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2020, at St.John of the Cross Catholic Church, 61030 Brier Lake Drive, Lacombe LA.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Slidell, Louisiana.
Read MoreFrannie was a wonderful lady. I have nothing but great memories of her and Tommy. I was once her neighbor as they sold me 5 acres of their 15 acres in Lacombe. I built a home and was her “next door” neighbor for 3 years. She was always pleasant and friendly, she will be missed. May she RIP. She’ll be with her beloved Tommy.

Franny and Tommy were old friends of the family when we lived in New Orleans. She was a kind, loving, and generous soul. I know she is in the loving arms of God for all eternality.
