My grandmother was an amazing woman. We will never forget our trips to little Torch Key. She always made us feel so welcome. We had so much fun visiting every February. We will never forget her ringing the bell for happy hour! We would look forward to that every night at 5:00. It was always so much fun visiting my grandparents. Grandma was always known for serving Happy Hour at their Florida Keys home. She'd ring a bell and we'd all sit outside for some snacks before dinner. She was a wonderful cook and her sauce/meatballs were my favorite. She was also a great baker - her Anisette cookies and Key Lime Pie remain my favorites.
