Frances F. Doyle, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at home after a long illness. She was 88 years old. True to her Irish heritage, she put up a courageous fight. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Doyle. Frances was born in Jersey City. After her marriage, she raised her children in Hillside. They later moved to Brick in the early 1980's.
She is survived by her children, SueAnn (William) Kosakowski, James (Madeline), William (MaryAnn) and Mary Frances (George) Evanchik. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Robert, William (Danielle) and Michael (Kerry) Ricci, James (Kim) and Joseph (Donna) Doyle, Jennifer Evanchik Roberts and Beth Evanchik. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, William, Camden, Thomas, Ryan, Kyle, Caroline, Megan Ricci, Erica and Joseph Doyle, and Quinn, Owen, Cadence Marie and Liam Roberts.
Frances was a member of Visitation Parish, Visitation Parish Rosary Society, Seaview Village Rosary Society and the Red Hatters.
The viewing will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 10 at Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11 at Visitation Church, Brick. Cremation will be private.
grandma Doyle was a funny and wonderful lady. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to the Doyle,Ricci,and Evanchik families.
