Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Fine was my 1st grade teacher at DW Babcock. I remember she used to play the piano and sing to us students, as well as read to us in her classroom. I still have a report card from 1972-1973 as well as a personal card she mailed to me. She was such a wonderful teacher that I've never forgotten. RIP Mrs. Fine...

Jane and I were buddies in the 2nd grade at Parker Grade school on G Ave, in New Castle, IN. Her father owned the Chapman milk dairy also located on G Ave a couple of blocks from the school. Once we both went to the dairy and her father gave us ice cream cones, of which we ate on the milk truck loading dock. The neighborhood boys kept kidding me, saying "Earl has a girlfriend". Jane and I also went to the Summer school together at the church located by her parent's house. I move to Westwood...

My brother had Mrs. Fine and three years later I was to have her as my 1st grade teacher. It was exciting to me because even so young, I was aware of her being a great teacher. However 1st grade came and the class was too big and was split ... I was moved to another class and I bawled my eyes out. Mrs. Fine touched so many young people. Prayers raised for you all during this very hard time.

Mrs. Fine was also my 1st grade teacher at Babcock Elementry....loved her! She was one of the best teachers I ever had! I can still picture her with her beehive hairdo :) She will be dearly missed. RIP Mrs. Fine....prayers to your family!

Great kids and a GREAT Teacher.....

Some teachers are so inspirational and Mrs. Fine was one of those for me in elementary school. My sincerest condolences...

An absolute angel on earth. Thank you Lord for our time with her; she did your work well.

She was an absolute joy! She was my first and second grade teacher in 1976 and 1977. She has always been my favorite teacher and a big part of who I am. I love you Mrs. Fine! - My birthday is Dec. 20th so we always had that connection.

Mrs. Fine was one of my favorite teachers. She taught me at Babcock in 1975. She will be greatly missed! So sorry for your loss.
