Send FlowersFrances Jean Winchester Gaddy, 84, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was born in Union County, NC on November 8, 1926 daughter of the late John Robert and Margaret Cornelia Romedy Winchester. Mrs. Gaddy was a librarian with the Union County Public Library for 23 years and a member of Central United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Gaddy was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Joe Lee Gaddy. She is survived by daughters, Pattie Barbee and husband Jerry and Cindy Ellis and husband Dan, sister, Nancy Williams all of Monroe, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Memorials maybe made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
