Not sure what to say?

I first met Fran as an 8 year old boy. She was in charge of the candy counter at Garver Bros. store and she helped me pick out the candy she knew I would like. I'm 73 now and memories like that are still with me, what a nice person she was. I am a third cousin to her. Rudy Garver, Philip's brother, was my greatgrandfather. I lived with my Grandmother, Margarete Garver Smallwood, for a while in Strasberg. What precious memories I still have of that place. Thanks Frances, for setting an example...

Fran Garver was a respected and loved alumna of the Frances Payne Bolton school of Nursing, (Case) Western Reserve University and and well remembered as a nursing supervisor at University Hospitals of cleveland. I knew her through FPB, UH, and Shaker Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a very special person and I am saddened to hear of her death.
Ann Farmer MSN, RN

I have known Fran for 87 years, since we are first cousins. She set an example for me when I became a nurse, and was always there to help solve problems. David and Joan have been such a support for Fran throughout her life, and I am so gratyeful for that. May she rest in peace.

Fran and I knew each other for 87 years. We were first cousins. We had parallel careers, and shared our love for nursing. I shall certainly miss her! Thank you, Joan and David especially, for all the love and care you gave to her. She needed you, and you were there for her. All of her friends appreciated what you did, and I know Fran did too! May she rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Fran was such a kind, caring woman and a wonderful neighbor/friend. She will be missed.
