I saw an old dresser in a barn in 1983 at the Blackburn's that came out of Granny Leonard's home after it burned. There was a letter Alice wrote to her parents in this old dresser. I could not touch it for some reason. I was afraid. Memories are important.

My condolences to the Gillespie family. Frances was a friend of Alice Leonard, my mother. She was a Booker. The Bookers' were close friends with the Leonards', I heard. I met Frances once at Wallace's funeral. She gave me a photo. Images have great meaning. They can be spiritual and Godly.
