GONSLER, Frances Constance "Connie" - Of Flint Township, age 89, died Monday, October 24, 2005 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Thursday, October 27, 2005 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street in Flint, Father Thomas Firestone and Father Douglas Osborn officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John Vianney Catholic Church or to Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Visitation 4-8PM Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A rosary will be prayed at 7PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Gonsler will be at the church from 10AM Thursday until the time of the Mass. She was born in Thorp, Wisconsin on March 23, 1916, the daughter of Paul and Mary (Kaminski) Glowacki. She married Joseph W. "Bill" Gonsler on June 5, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a homemaker, member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church and a member of the Houghton Lake Elks Club. Mrs. Gonsler was an avid bridge player, loved cards, games, bowling and golf. Surviving are children, James and wife Leta Gonsler of Grand Blanc, Mary Jo and husband Jeffrey Herbig of Flint Township, Linda and husband David Greenway of Grayling; grandchildren, Kala, John, William, Kristin and Ashley Gonsler, Paige Conway and Lilian Herbig, Rachel and Joseph Greenway; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph William "Bill" Gonsler; parents, Paul and Mary Glowacki; granddaughter, Kati Jo Conway; 15 brothers and sisters. Special thanks to the staff at Alterra Wynwood in Grand Blanc and Avalon Hospice; beloved caregivers, Kim Giesey, Sheryl Fuller and Leah Crowe.
