Read MoreSr. Frances and my sister, Sr. Sarah Baird we´re close friends and ran the parish religious education program in Canby until Sarah´s death in 1977. We stayed in touch and she helped my parents get through it all. She was a caring and loving person and now she and Sarah are finally together again! There is sadness on earth but joy in Heaven!

Sister Frances was at the airport in 1987 when our son, Cameron, arrived as an infant from Korea. She then came to her Grandpa Bob's house where she taught us newbie parents how to bathe a wee one in the kitchen sink.We will always hold this special lady in my heart. She was one of a kind.

Our deepest sympathy to the Harold family and the SNJM community at the loss of Sister Francis. Her generation and her parents were close friends of my father, Bill Laughlin. When ever they met up there was much joy and reminiscences and I always enjoyed hearing them share their happy memories.
