Frances was such an inspiration! I truly feel honored to have known her. I pray she knows the profound impact she had on people's lives- her life will be remembered.

Frances was my mentor and my friend. Knowing her and working with her have been among the greatest gifts of my life. She will always be in my heart and mind, guiding me to be the best person possible. I will miss her deeply.

Frances was a true inspiration. We met every week to work out at her health club. There were days that she wasn't feeling up to it but still came down and put her time in, and never complained when she wasn't feeling 100%. She was a joy and will truly be missed.

I was the new girl in October, 1963 at Hookway Elementary School. I was in second grade and scared to death standing at the front of that classroom full of strangers. Mrs. Brown, as she was known then, was the teacher and my knight in shining amour. That's what she did: put children at ease and bring out the best in them.

I spoke with her last Thanksgiving and she gently admondished me by saying '... next time you're in town, call me when you get in, not on your way out". And...

Please accept our sincerest sorrow for your loss. We loved Frances'. and Rocky's Mom - Margaret Foster so much ...I'm sure they are together again. Frances was such a wonderful inspiration to so many. We're sure she will be missed by all.

I have known Frances for so many years. She will always be a part of my history. I will miss her.My heart goes out to Oliver, Corky and the rest of the family.

The world will be a sadder place because of the passing of Frances. It was a privilege to work with her on the Board of the Academic Decathalon. Her smile, her friendship, her sense of humor, and most of all, her love of children will be missed.
