FRANCES BURKE KENNEY

My mother, Katherine Dibbs Brode, was fortunate to be reacquainted with her cousin, Marie, when residing at Normandy Farms Estates. Whenever I visited from CA, I had numerous opportunities to enjoy both Marie's and Mother's company and stories about their childhoods and fun trips to the shore.
Marie was a devoted friend to my Mother and visited her often to brighten her days. What a beautiful, kind and generous person she was and I was saddened to find that she passed away a few years...

My deepest sympathies to the Kenney family. My father, Herbert Smith, was her 2nd cousin and I spoke with her a few years ago regarding the family tree. She was lovely to talk with and I am sorry we never got together in person.

I was saddened only recently to hear of Mrs. Kenney's death in December. Please be assured of our prayers during this difficult time. As the cliche goes, "Behind every successful man is a woman". The Fluehr and Kenney families go way back and I hope to continue that relationship. Again, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Missy, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother's death. I have such fond memories of what a lovely and gracious person she was.
