Frances Veronica Laskowski

Laskowski, Frances Veronica (age 92) was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 21, 1921, the daughter of the late Alex Bielinski and wife, Veronica, nee (Chucka) Bielinski. She received her education in Milwaukee, WI., earning a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Journalism at Marquette University in 1945. She was married to Leonard Laskowski, Jr. on June 1, 1946. They were married for 63 years when he died in July, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Edward, Joseph, George, and Richard Bielinski, four sister- in law Delores Sowa, Georgiana Kalagian, Sylvia Bielinski, Dorothy Bielinski, four brother-in law, Otto Sowa, Charles Kalagian, Robert Van Ryzan, Lou Wyatt, and one grandson Tony Mooney. She is survived by three sons Leonard (Bonnie) Laskowski III, James Laskowski, and Thomas (Rhonda) Laskowski. Also by three sisters, Sister Margaret Mary Bielinski (Clyde, Missouri), Margaret Van Ryzin (Gambrills, Maryland), Mary Wyatt(Santa Cruz, California) and sister-in law Mary Ann Bielinski. She was a grandmother of Lori (Kenneth) Craig, Lisa Mooney, Thomas (Jennifer) Laskowski, Leonard (Lauren) Laskowski IV, Michelle (Brian) Hance, Christa (William) Jackson, Danielle (Jonathan) Tynes and Adam Laskowski. She was also a great and a great-great- grandmother. She was a member of St Mary of Perpetual Help Church in Villa Ridge since 1954.
Services: Funeral from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Monday, August 5, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to St. Mary of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Moselle, MO for 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mary of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or Catholic Charity of your choice.
