Frances Cooke Macgregor

Frances entrusted me with the typing of much of her work, asking for editorial suggestions as well, from the time I left Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in 1982 until a few years ago, when physical infirmities kept her from writing, in spite of her fierce desire to complete papers requested by the Smithsonian. We became friends, and I will miss her.
