Fran was a very sweet lady who brought much kindness and joy to all who knew her. Direct as she could be, she always wanted the best for those she cared for. May the healing Spirit of God comfort you in your time of grief and may you come to know only the wonderful memories of your mother that will sustain you for the rest of your life. Mary - what a surprised when Dave called us in AZ and said your mom had passed away because her kidneys stopped working. I hope she hadn't suffered too much. I was happy to hear that you were with her when she died. Our sympathy goes out to you.We always enjoyed having Thanksgiving dinner with her years ago. She will be missed. I saw your mom's obit this morning and was saddened to read of her passing. She was a wonderful lady and will be remembered for her generosity to us. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult period.

My godmother, Mae White (age 81) worked the soda fountain at Gregg's
drugstore as a teenager. (Must have been a few years after that that Joe was the pharmacist at Gregg's)
