Della Quinn and I are very sorry to hear about your recent loss. Joan was a very special friend and a super boss at Indiana University South Bend. Della and I worked with her at the bookstore and I also worked with her at the library. Della and I have known Joan for a very long time and we will miss her very very much. Ah, the wild times in the '60s (and '70s and '80s). It's the end of an era, isn't it? We've lost a couple of strong, wonderful women. I just wish it hadn't been so long since I had seen her, and you all. My sympathy and empathy to the Meyers family.
