Not sure what to say?

I will miss you coach Fran!! Much Love!!

My thoughts are with your family. I had Timmy and his mom in my life very early on and am the richer for it. She knew the value of being engaged with life and embracing all that it had to offer. From swimming to exploring foods, she challenged and encouraged all to embrace life on life's terms.

My family swam with and against the Norrises on RCAC and neighborhood swim teams. Lots of fun. Mrs. Norris touched, positively, the lives of many H'ville swimmers over the years.

Loved Mrs. Norris! She was my swim coach from a very young age and we all loved her dearly. Prayers and hugs to you Timmy and Karlyn and families. She was one of a kind!

On Monte Sano's summer swim team, I swam for Fran Norris in the late 60s where she taught me the strokes & the art of competitive swimming. She took that job seriously and we were one of the best teams in the City. I admired her then, she was one of my idols throughout her life, and she remains my idol today. I owe her so much. Fran Norris left a legacy that will be hard to duplicate, and she will be greatly missed.

What a delight she was! As a life guard/swimming instructor at the YMCA, she was there to offer constructive thoughts and ways. Our paths crossed rarely in later years but thought of her and Tim often as I passed the house on Whitesburg and her inspiration. May our thoughts and prayers be extended to the entire family.
