Not sure what to say?

I have so many fond memories of my aunt Fran. But some of my most cherished ones involved watercolors and her love for art, nature and flowers.

Frances was an amazing women. She always welcomed my mom Jude and I into her home. She had such a kind And comforting spirit about her. When Fran was in the room you always knew everything was going to be alright. I still have the water color painting she gave me on my wedding day. She will be missed by many. I would always try and visit her when I could. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Fran's beautiful gift for not only creating Art herself, but for encouraging true creativity in others was such a blessing. She touched the lives of so many - including mine! I think of her every time I pick up a paintbrush and every time I look at nature, trying to decipher how to bring its beauty onto paper or canvas. Thank you Fran, you are missed, but your legacy will continue on!

Connie Hawkins: I knew and loved Fran for 20 years, and I also was her kindred art educator friend. For some time I drove from Milwaukee to her home to produce watercolors. Her SPIRIT OF LOVE AND GOOD POSITIVE LIVING will stay with me always.
I also bought two of her beautiful watercolors of looking at Milwaukee from a sailboat!! I was honored to be invited to sail for 30 years through my friends, so Fran’s glorious watercolors hold much meaning. Her style is comparable with the era of...

Fran was always up for a visit from the Alaska Contingent over the years, I had many a fine respite at the stone house on my travels from AK to Boston and back. What a great mom!

I had so many wonderful times with Fran. One of the best memories was starting “Art in the woods” with Fran, Ellen Reyer and myself. We had many shows and eventually grew the show to over 20 artists. Fran will very much be missed! And the parties at her lovely farm home... so many good times! My love to her family!
