Frances Palmisano

Groton - Frances Palmisano, 93, of 1145 Poquonnock Road, Groton and formerly of New Jersey, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at the Groton Regency.

She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Anthony and Angelina Palmisano. Miss Palmisano worked as a photo colorist at Lorstan Studios in Newark, prior to moving to this area.

She is survived by her niece, Linda K. Jennings and her husband, Robert, of Waterford.

Funeral services and burial in St. Mary Cemetery, New London is private. There are no visiting hours.

Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington St., New London, is assisting with the arrangements.
