Frances R. Palombo 89, of Asbury Park passed away on Saturday Jan. 13, 2018 in the loving arms of her granddaughter, Nicole while her family was traveling to be at her side. Born in the Bronx NY, Frances was an Executive Asst. and worked for several major organizations, including the Walter Reade Organization (NJ) and Coty company, NYC. Frances was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Asbury Park and a volunteer at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was also a member of the Will Rogers Motion Pictures Pioneers Foundation.
Fran was predeceased by her parents; Thomas and Lucille Hartnett and her sister Gloria Cartusciello. Surviving are two daughters, one son and spouses; Elizabeth Isaac and her husband Nick of Ocean Twp. and Maria LaGanga and her husband Rich of Neptune and Tom Darwell and his wife Terri of Haines City, Fl., 10 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a nephew, Michael Cartusciello and nieces, Jenine Dumas and Lucy Fowler and several close friends.
Honoring Fran's wishes, there will be no service or funeral. Private arrangements have been carried out.
In lieu of flowers and cards, a donation to the North Shore Animal League in her memory would be greatly appreciated as this was one of her passions.

Fran was one in a million and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her. She was a wonderful friend and my life was certainly better for having known her. Rest in peace my friend.
