Frances was a P.E. teacher when I moved to Glendale in the 8th grade. She made the class a lot of fun. She was still helping kids while leading the 4-H club when I came back to teach in Glendale myself. She was always such an inspiration to me.

Francis was a special lady. I taught with her and her husband Louis when I first started teaching in Glendale in the 1960s. Both of my sons did 4H with her and Louis. What a special lady. She touched so many lives. My prayers are with her family.

They loved her and she and Louis befriended me making me feel so welcome in a new town where my only friends were Tina and Bruce Daily with whom I had attended college at U.C. Davis.I continued to teach with Francis until she retired and have many wonderful memories of this generous, kind woman who made a real, positive difference in several generations of children's lives.
