As long as I can remember, my Mother, Arvene Lee Schmidt would say that she was going to her "Club Meeting" that took place each month. It was a meeting of "girls" who went to Central High and graduated together about 1930. Frances was part of this group and she and Mel are both very much part of my childhood memories.
