ROZYLA, Frances - Of Clio, age 88, died Saturday, May 8, 2010, McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Charles & Helena Catholic Church 230 East Vienna Street, Clio Father Jerry Ploof officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice. Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Memorial service will be conducted by the Sons of Italy at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Frances was born in Flint, Michigan on July 22, 1921. On June 28, 1947 she married Eugene Rozyla. She was a lifetime member of the Sons of Italy and member of St. Charles & Helena Catholic Church. Frances loved music and played the organ. She also enjoyed traveling and bowling. Mrs. Rozyla retired from Citizens Bank as a Secretary. Surviving are husband, Eugene; daughter, Paula Rozyla of Estes Park, Colorado; son, Eugene and wife Sandy of New Hampshire; granddaughter, Shamron Moore and husband Mark Rollings of California; many other family members; a host of special friends and her beloved kitty, Dino. Gene - I am so, so sorry to hear of Fran's passing - I didn't even know she had been ill. Words cannot express how deeply I hurt for you and Paula. Fran was a very dear friend and a wonderful person - It was such an honor and privilege to be your neighbors and friends. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your wonderful family.

I had the privilege of working with Frannie at Citizens Bank. I've never know Frannie not to have a smile on her face or a song coming out of her mouth. She was a dear friend.
