Frances J. (Malozzi) Salgado, 83, formerly of Bethlehem, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. She is the wife of the late Raymond M. Salgado (died April 24, 2004). Born in Bethlehem on May 16, 1929 to the late Joseph and Catherine (Malagiese) Malozzi. Frances is a member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown. She previously worked at Zawick Manufacturing, Hellertown and B. Braun, Bethlehem. Frances enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Survivors: Children, Raymond M. Jr. and his wife Lorraine M., Sandra L. wife of Rodney C. LaBar, all of Hellertown, Catherine A. wife of Dr. Edward A. Vollbrecht of Harrisburg; sister, Rose Grether of Argentina; four grandchildren, Christopher J. McCaughin, Jason M. Salgado, Scott B. Salgado and Matthew C. Volbrecht; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Anthony, Carson and Kylee Alexa. Predeceased by nine siblings. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
