Not sure what to say?

I just saw Fran's obituary online. We first met as dorm mates at the College of St. Francis in Joliet IL in 1948 and became lifelong friends. We shared many fun memories of college (and beyond), and I fondly remember her whole family as I spent many weekends with her mom and sisters at their home in Roseland. She and Gunzie set me up with blind dates so we could go dancing on those weekends. Fran was a bridesmaid in my wedding and our first children were born days apart. I especially...

Fran was definitely a very special lady. She was the last cousin I still had from the Hodorowicz side of my family - my parents were Tony and Agnes Hodorowicz. Fran and I corresponded by mail mostly, and I always looked forward to and enjoyed our exchanges. I will miss her. Sincere condolences to her family.

I was a caregiver for Frances on the weekends and loved my talks with her. She truly was a kind lady and I will miss her

God Bless this family at this time of loss! Bring them peace. But must of all, thank you Lord that such a beautiful soul shared her life with so many.

I'm so sad to read this. I loved Fran. I was her occupational therapist at Spring Mill several years ago. She always sent me Birthday cards and Christmas cards. I sure will miss her card this month. I retired 4 years ago and had several patient friends after they left therapy. She was the last one I still had. I'm heartbroken to see she is gone. May God bless you and your whole family at this sad time. I know you will miss her so much.

I want to send my love and my prayers to the family. Fran was my best friend from as far back as I can remember. I spent nearly every day with her until the family moved from Michigan Avenue. But we've kept in touch forever. And I know we'll meet again. Alice
