My Nina and Nino were the BEST anyone could've asked for. They were always so gracious with their home and hosted quite a few of my birthday parties in my younger years. We loooved going up to Yucaipa and rolling down the hills. What a beautiful home they made and we were all fortunate they liked sharing it. My Nina was such an elegant woman. Aunt Frances was a very special person and in fact was my maiden of honor when I married. My husband and I loved her dearly and she will be missed. The love that she and Carl shared was one of a kind and very few have shared that same togetherness. What strikes out in my memory of my Great Aunt was her spunk. She is lively (I refuse to use the work 'was' - a passed person's spirit still lives on). She loved 'life'. She loved music, dancing..and her dry Martini's.
