Not sure what to say?

Tommy, I was so saddened to hear about your mother's passing. She was such a sweet lady and such a dear friend to my mother Nancy Norman. Her visits each week and their outings was truly the highlight of my mom's life while they were friends. She leaves us with many sweet memories...Barbara Howell

Tommy:

I was so sorry to read about your mother's passing. It was a treat to have her, along with your father and you, attend our wedding back in 1983, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her even a little bit on a couple of visits passing through Decatur. I know my own mother was so fond of her from all their cousin visits in Greeneville. Please accept our whole family's condolences in your time of grief.

Tommy,
Heartfelt sympathy to you in the loss of your mother. Both your parents were such fine people and good friends to my mother and father over the years in Decatur. Your sorrow can be tempered by the respect so many in Decatur had for your mother who was surely the spirit of your family. May God give you grace and strength in this difficult hour.

Tommy,
Your mother and father were dear friends of my mother and daddy, Jack and Katherine McLaughlin. I will always remember how kind and gentile and thoughtful both of your parents were. I'm so sorry!

Francis Shanks was a precious friend to my mother, Gena Wood Harris, and our family. I have many fond memories of Francis and Phillip while growing up in Decatur. My husband, George, and I had the oppotunity to visit with Francis and the dog at her home after Mama died. Despite health issues she was just adorable sharing stories with us.
Our warmest sympathy to Tommy and his family.
