Frances SMITH Obituary
News Death Notice
SMITH, Frances (Hoos) 94, of Alpha, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husbands Robert H. Hoos and Roger C. Smith; her sons Robert G. Hoos and James A. Hoos; sister Mildred Volkman and brother Gail Sheley. She is survived by her son and two daughters-in-law John and Meribeth Hoos of Alpha, Pamela Hoos of England; daughter and son-in-law Nan and James Crump; sisters Marjorie Crawford of Xenia, Billie Heifner of Jamestown; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 1937. She retired as a secretary from the Beavercreek School System. She was a member of the O.E.S. Beaver Valley Chapter #570 in Beavercreek. Graveside services will be held 10 AM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Beaver Cemetery. Pastor Brian Eastman officiating. Arrangements in care of TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
